Assistant Work Queue

AgileEMR: Assistant Work Queue

  • Click Work Queue on the menu bar. (Remember: tasks can also be accessed from the patient's case home page by clicking the Documentation button there.)
  • Assistants can opt to view My Assignments (their tasks) or the Therapist Queue (all therapist tasks.)

  • The Assistant Queue includes the following  tasks:
    • Create Document: When an appointment is acknowledged, this task appears in the queue. Clicking it both creates and opens the document.
    • Open Document:  The task for any document that has not yet been signed.
    • PN or DS: Click this task and then select whether a Progress or Discharge Note should be created.
  • Click the link in the Action column to work on the task. Until the document is signed, it will remain as a task in the queue. 

  • Once the document has been signed, the task goes away, and a corresponding task is placed on the Admin Queue for further action by the Admin User.
  • Note: If the document requires a therapist co-signature, an unassigned Open Document  task will be added to the therapist queue. A therapist will have to assign the task to herself and then co-sign
  • From the Therapist Queue, Assistants can assign any Not Assigned note tasks to themselves.
    • Click the Therapist Queue button in the queue menu bar.
    • Click the Assigned to field and select your name.
  • Assistants can also "unassign" one of their tasks by clicking the Assigned to field and selecting Not Assigned.
