AgileEMR Welcome Page

The Welcome Page gives the user an overview of the system, including brief look at the Scheduled Appointments for the day, Financial Overview, and Register Summaries. You can also search Active patients and create a new case from the AgileEMR Welcome Page.

Navigation Bar

Located at the top of the page, there is a Navigation header which includes Cases, Patients, Schedule, Financial, Reports, Admin and Work Que 

  • Cases: Selecting Cases will allow the user to search for a patient’s case
  • Patients: Selecting Patients will allow the user to search and view an overview of a patient’s case history per MRN
  • Schedule: Selecting Schedule will allow the user to view the Clinic’s schedule for the current day
  • Financial: Selecting  Financial  will allow the users to review payment postings via Deposits, Statements, Charges Batches, etc.
  • Reports: Selecting Reports will allow the user to view and run Management Statistics reports and KPI's
  • Admin: Selecting Admin will allow the user an overview of Administrative Settings
  • Work Queue: Selecting Work Queue will display system generated tasks that need to be completed/ reviewed

Register Location, Account Details, System Information, and Support Ticket Submission

In the upper right corner of AgileEMR is where the user can find the Register Location they are currently in, the user account information, and an information icon.

  • Register Location: This shows the user’s current location. It can be changed by clicking on the location and choosing a new location from the drop down menu in the Change Register Location pop up window
  • User Account Information: An overview of the user’s account information can be found by hovering over the users name and clicking on My Account
  • Information icon: Selecting the Information icon will direct the user to the Support Center. This is where the user can find the support library housing system tutorial documents. 
  • Lifesaver icon: Selecting the Lifesaver icon allows the user to submit a support ticket without leaving AgileEMR

Search and Create Case

Below the AgileEMR logo is where the user can Search or Create a new case.

  • Search: A user can search for an Active Case by typing in the patient’s name or case number. 

**NOTE The user can only search for active cases with this search bar. Discharged Cases will not populate when using this search function. To search all cases please click on the Cases button in the Navigation header.

  • New Case: A user can create a new case by clicking the New Case button.

Today’s Appointments

Today’s Appointments is where the user can find an overview of the current day’s schedule for the current Register Location

  • The patient’s name is highlighted in blue, and clicking it will bring the user into the patient's case
  • Beneath the patient’s name is the time and clinician they are scheduled with for the day's appointment
  • The Bar Graph icon next to the patient’s appointment will appear once they have been checked in. Clicking the Bar Graph icon will bring the user directly to the Account tab in the patient's case

Financial Summary

The Financial Summary gives the user an overview of the Financial Accounts for the current Register Location. To the right of the meter is the average amount of days insurance takes to make a payment. To the left of the meter is the average amount of days the patient takes to make a payment. The table below shows the total amount still owed after the corresponding amount of days broken down by patient, insurance, and combined totals.

Register Summaries

The Register Summaries calendar is located at the bottom of the page and shows the days of the month which are opened and closed.

  • A day can be closed once all the patients that were scheduled for that day are marked arrived or cancelled, and the payments have been posted.
  • Closed days will display an X on the Register Summaries calendar
