AgileEMR – Reviewing and Submitting Charges

How to Review and Submit: Once the required documentation has been completed by the clinician, it will appear in the Admin Work Queue. Documents which have been submitted by the clinician the previous day will be highlighted in red, meaning they are a priority in the Work Queue.

  • Select Review Document
  • This will open the document which the user can review and verify the charges.

  • If a modifier applies, add the modifier.
  • Add a self-paid treatment, if applicable. This may include supply items.
  • Once these have been applied, choose and action from the following list:
    • Save Changes: This will save the changes which have been made, but it will not be submitted
    • Submit for Clinician Review: This will send the document to the clinician to review
    • Submit and Mark on Hold: This will put the patient claims on hold
    • Submit to Billing: This will submit the claim to billing
