AgileEMR: Transferring Deposit Balance

FEATURE PUPOSE: To allow users to move deposit balance from one case to another

  • Navigate to the Patient’s Case
  • Click on the Account Tab
  • In the Account Tab, click on “Move Deposit Funds
  • This will open a new window: “Move Deposit Funds to Another Case”:
  • Enter the amount you would like to transfer to another case
    • NOTE: Be sure that you are not trying to move more money than what is available in the deposit balance.
  • Select the Case that you would like to move the deposit to.
    • You can do this by searching with the drop-down arrow, which will give you different cases to choose from based on the patient’s name
    • If the deposit balance needs to be moved to another case that has nothing to do with the current patient, select the “Transfer to another patient’s case” option.
      • This will open a searchable field where you can search for any case number available.
  • After selecting the amount to transfer and the case to transfer the deposit to, you MUST type in a Note annotating why the deposit balance was moved.
    • The system will not allow you to confirm the transfer until this has been completed.
  • Once confirmed, a note will be placed on the Patient’s Case Home Page stating that patient money was moved, it will also display the note that you have left as well for additional details.
