Pain and injuries are never planned, but now taking the first step toward recovery or continuing your care is more convenient than ever. We are now offering virtual physical therapy care, allowing you to have your condition assessed and treated from the comfort of your own home through a secure online video chat.

Your virtual appointments are one-on-one video calls with one of our licensed physical therapists.

Q: What is telehealth or telerehab?

A: Virtual physical therapy care is often referred to by various names, such as:

• telehealth

• telemedicine physical therapy

• telePT

• teletherapy

• telerehab

• online physical therapy

• virtual physical therapy

• Virtual care

• remote physical therapy

Q: How is virtual physical therapy conducted?

A: We offer live video appointments in real time with one of our trained physical therapists. You will still get the same one on one attention and care you are accustomed to, but from the comfort of your home.

Q: What technology do I need?

A: You’ll only need a smartphone, tablet or computer with a camera and internet or cellular connection. We often suggest going into a well-lit, private room for your appointments.

Q: Why is telehealth beneficial?

A: Telehealth allows our physical therapists to meet you where you're at and provide continued care to you.

Q: I haven’t started physical therapy yet. Can I still participate in virtual physical therapy?

A: Absolutely! We can perform an evaluation and begin physical therapy treatment through virtual physical therapy care.

Q: I started my physical therapy care in person. Am I able to transition to virtual physical therapy?

A: Yes! We understand you’ve started to make progress and we are happy to transition your physical therapy treatment to virtual physical therapy care to ensure your continued success and progress.

Q: Will I see the same physical therapist?

A: Based on schedule availability, you may be able to continue care with the same physical therapist you’ve seen in person. But in case not, you will be well cared for as our entire clinic team is here to help.

Q: How long are the virtual physical therapy appointments?

A: You’re able to customize appointment length based on your needs and plan of care. A typical virtual physical therapy appointment is 30 to 45 minutes. Evaluations typically last one hour.

Q: How can I pay for my virtual appointments?

A: We accept most major credit cards as well as Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending (FSA) payments. While we are currently unable to bill insurances currently, we are constantly looking for ability to expand to insurance coverage.
