Minutes Pull Forward - Daily Note Enhancement 3/18/22
OVERVIEW: The Minutes Pull Forward daily note enhancement will pull minutes entered into the treatment log (Manual/Treatment and Exercise Log tabs) to the Billing Review & Signature tab. This will eliminate the need to enter minutes in all tabs.
Minutes within the Billing Review & Signature tab will become read only with this enhancement. If any changes need to be made to time entered for a CPT code, users will need to access either the Manual/Treatment or Exercise Log to make time changes. No changes will be made to the No Charge checkbox or any other areas within this tab.
ENTERING MINUTES
Time will be entered in the same format on both the Manual/Treatment and Exercise Log tabs within the text field.
Time entered into these fields will then pull forward to the Billing Review & Signature Tab.
If changes to times assigned to a CPT code need to be made, users will need to access either the Manual/Treatment or Exercise Log tab to make any changes. No changes to minutes can be made on the Billing Review & Signature tab.
Zero Minutes: When zero minutes are entered for a CPT code on the Manual/Treatment or Exercise Log tab, these will not pull forward to the Billing Review & Signature tab. Only CPT codes assigned minutes greater than zero will display to be billed on this tab.
Changes made when Multiple Users are within Daily Note: Users will be alerted if changes are made to minutes for a CPT code when multiple users are within the note, and a user is trying to sign off. This alert is to make the user aware of the time change within the note.
Users have two options within this alert – The page can be reloaded, or the user can be taken to the tab to review the changes made. Below is an example of this alert.
